Owner and founder of KO (est 1976), with over four decades of coaching experience. A level 2 Amateur coach, B.B.B.C second and trainer.
Bill is known simply as “Coach Bill”.
Coach Bill is one of the Worlds leading trainers in kickboxing and Muay Thai. He has produced numerous professional World Champions and Amateur gold medalists in major Championships over the last four decades.

As a qualified coach in Boxing and various different sports, I believe that enabling the student to enjoy enhances learning which enables training to have intensity which is formulated by drive, stimulation and motivation. This is the key to obtaining desired technical and functional goals. My coaching style puts you in a position to ask questions and be reflective so to enhance learning of what needs to be achieved.
I believe in applying transferable skills so the logic of what is being delivered becomes second nature in application. I am passionate about my craft and believe that by ensuring all fundamentals are sound, the training provided will enable a stronger base for acceleration of your rigorous technical or functional training.
I am familiar and well versed with different training techniques so if your desire is to lose weight, enhance strength & conditioning, improve defensive or offensive techniques or build mental capacity, I believe together we can achieve that and together we win.

As an ex-olympic weightlifter turned boxer, I specialise in strength and conditioning for combat athletes. My coaching style is tailored very specifically to the individual. Whether you are a high level athlete or someone just looking to get stronger and increase your athletic performance I will meet your goals.
I aim to make training as concise as possible. I don’t believe in over-complicating things. There are no gimmicks, there is no fancy equipment, there is just the fundamentals. Compound movement, speed work, explosive work, rehabilitation work, olympic lifting, calisthenics work – I put it all put together to build stronger athletes.

I have a true passion for boxing and combat and aim to covey this in my sessions. A strong emphasis will be made on footwork and boxing fundamentals.

I am a qualified personal trainer and a world champion in Muay Thai, I run the ladies only class every Sunday to help build confidence for all women and allow them to access Thai Boxing at any age or background and fitness.
My main role at Ko gym is as a personal trainer, teaching clients my own methods using my experience the art of 8limbs given me so far. I incorporating pad work, strategy work, fitness goals, weight loss, technique and technical sparing if requested. The Pt sessions will be tailored towards individual clients needs.

I am a qualified boxing coach and a qualified Cutman. I have had amateur bouts myself and have developed my analytical skills cornering and coaching fighters in the ring.
I believe in hard work and learning the perfect technique by practicing and analysing the way it should be done. I work with my athletes to bring out their best skills, working within their styles and developing their confidence inside and outside of the ring.
I also feel that you only get out of something what you are willing to put in. I also like to engage with the group to see what they have learnt and get their perspective on different methods that could be utilised.

I trained in several martial arts including Muay Thai/K1, as well as Taekwondo and gymnastics before going on to become an Elite Boxer. I hold the English Title Belt and I am a 3 x National Champion. As a level 4 Personal Trainer I provide specialised coaching to a wide range of fighters and athletes. I am also an Elite Gymnastics Coach and Pilates Instructor so I can tailor a variety of different methods of training to suit individual needs. Whether you choose to focus on fitness or technical ability and strategies in boxing, my aim is to help motivate and enhance your performance. Together we will achieve your training goals.
